With all the benefits I talk about when it comes to consuming raw honey. A person may ask themselves are there any negative effects to eating honey that is raw. There are some people who say that they prefer pasteurized honey over raw honey because they have allergic reactions to raw honey. This is definitely not been the case for me. I have found the exact opposite. I find that pasteurized honey gives me bloating and other digestive problems. I think this is more due to the garbage that they put into pasteurized honey then the actual pasteurization itself. I'd rather consume raw honey over pasteurized honey any day. Raw honey has antibacterial benefits as well as minerals in it. With pasteurized honey they heat the honey to very high temperatures in a very short amount of time. This damages the antibacterial benefits of honey. It also depletes the mineral content of the honey. I have heard many people using raw honey to improve the quality of their skin. I've never heard anyone having negative effects when it comes to putting raw honey on their skin. I've heard many people having bad effects from commercial lotions on the skin though. This being the case raw honey is definitely a safe way to improve the quality of your skin. I'm not sure if the reason why it improves the quality of your skin is the antibacterial benefits or just the fructose. It could also be the potassium and magnesium that is in honey. Whether or not we have a direct explanation as to why it improves quality of people's skin. We can say quite confidently that it does indeed work. Raw honey has been used throughout centuries to treat burns. Now I'm not sure if it would do a good job with very severe burns but I know of many veterinarians that have used it with animals and have gotten great results. It's interesting that a food can be used to help people with burns and cosmetic issues.

In terms of the negative effects to consuming raw honey. I noticed that when I eat too much raw honey. I'd get bloated. This also could have been brought on by over consumption of milk. It's probably likely that it was from me over drinking milk and the raw honey just added to the bloating. I have reduced my consumption of milk and now that I think about it. I have a lot less bloating. It's interesting because I'm still consuming the same amount of raw honey. I actually consume about 250 mL of honey a day. This may seem like a huge amount of sugar to eat to most people. People think I should have diabetes by now. I've been eating this large amount of raw honey now for about a year and a half. I was having extremely bad blood sugar problems before consuming raw honey. If I wait too long to eat I will actually puke and be in severe pain. By incorporating raw honey into my food. I've noticed a great reduction in these events and haven't been in severe pain since. Raw honey has actually saved my health and regulated my blood sugar. This comes with great surprise to most people because they would assume raw honey would actually make my blood sugar problems become worse.

It's common sense that the least processed a food is the better it is for you. You would then safely assume from that statement that raw honey would be the best quality honey you can get. Raw honey comes straight out of the hive. It hasn't been adulterated in anyway and is in it's natural form. If you see raw honey on shelves sometimes you'll see it becoming crystallized. This is actually a normal process that's suppose to happen. This actually shows you that your honey's indeed raw and not pasteurized. Many people are afraid of this because it doesn't look healthy. The truth of the matter is that this is a normal process for honey to go through. I used to assume that honey was pasteurized because they want to kill bacteria but now I know that they also pasteurized it to avoid the crystallization process. This crystallization process is a normal thing that happens to honey that is raw. You shouldn't be afraid of it but embrace the fact that if you see this then your honey is indeed raw. Whenever I see pasteurized honey I always assume that it was from bees that collected pollen from plants that aren't organically grown. When the plants that produce the pollen are grown organically. They produce much higher quality pollen. This pollen is free pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. This means that the pollen that these bees are getting is very high quality. This makes not only the bees healthier. It also makes the honey more nutritious and overall more healthy for you. There's probably much stricter guidelines that I'm not aware about when it comes to the production of raw honey. Farmers that produce raw honey probably take a lot more consideration for their bees health. They probably respect their bees greatly for the honey they provide them and show them respect by not taking too much honey from them. The bees need the honey in order to live. If you take all their honey away from them then they will die.

In conclusion, although I may have outlined one side effect from raw honey which was bloating. Overall I haven't had very many negative effects from honey. Raw honey has hugely benefited my health. I would highly recommend to consume raw honey for its health benefits. The negative effects that's our culture thinks honey causes is not accurate. Raw honey is definitely one of the healthiest foods you can eat. If you would like to purchase raw honey ontario and plenty of other Canadian provinces are going to have farmers and health food stores that carry raw honey. Remember to always buy raw honey not pasteurized honey because pasteurized honey has additives, preservatives and other garbage. It also contains less nutrients and will be missing the antibacterial benefits that raw honey has. If you want to see a beautiful video click on raw honey ontario. I love how the video showcases pictures of honey and and other honey products. Our culture is so afraid of sugar yet many are unaware of the health benefits of raw honey. It seems that the less sugar we eat the more health problems were seeing in Canada. Most foods in Canada do not have sucrose in them. Sugar is not the problem. Sugar is part of the solution to the current health problems people are facing.
